Sandy Neck has three beach wheelchairs—two for the public beach and one for the ORV beach. In addition Sandy Neck has two upright beach walkers for patrons who may need a little assistance in getting onto the beach. At the public beach we offer wheelchairs and beach walkers, as well as a handicap accessible entrance to the beach during business hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day. If a wheelchair is needed outside of hours please call the Gatehouse (508-362-8300). Sandy Neck offers a wheelchair for the Off Road Vehicle Beach (ORV). The chair does not fold up and is best transported in the bed of a pick-up truck. Sandy Neck staff can deliver the wheelchair to the ORV beach if needed. This wheelchair must be reserved by calling the Gatehouse (508-362-8300).
