Town Clerk: Linda Hutchenrider
The Town Clerk is not only a general information dispenser, but issues: certified copies of births and deaths that have occurred in the Town of Barnstable, and marriage licenses that were obtained in the Town. Fishing licenses, business certificates, dog licenses, physician registrations, and underground fuel storage registrations are also issued and filed by this office. The Town Clerk and some of her staff members are also trained by the State Department to issue passports. Forms are available and applications will be taken daily from 8:45 – 3:45 p.m..
