New licenses will be issued starting May 2.
To get your license: mail or bring in:
1) Proof of current rabies vaccination,
2) Spay or neuter certificate, (if not on file already),
3) Payment in the amount of $7.00 for an altered dog or $10.00 for dogs that aren’t.
Checks are to be made out to: Town of Barnstable. If you request it by
mail - please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. An add’l late fee of $5.00 will be charged if you license your dog after July 31; $10.00
late fee after Dec. 31.

All rabies and other papers will be returned to you along with your new license and tag.
