Senior Services

The Barnstable Senior Center is pleased to offer transportation to Barnstable Elders, handicapped, and disabled. Barnstable Council on Aging Silver Express Vans offers dependable service, courteous drivers and short wait times. Vans are equipped with a chair lift for wheelchairs or for those who are not able to step into a van. Our handicapped accessible transportation services are available weekdays for all elders residing in Barnstable. Reservations must be called in by noon the day prior to need, up to one month in advance, first-come-first serve basis.

Suggestion – for best availability, make medical appointments between 10Am and 1:30 PM

Voluntary Contribution

$5 round-trip and or $3 one-way trip is appreciated for gas and maintenance
