Swim Lessons

Our Division runs Swim Lessons during the summer months at the beaches indicated on the grid under “Beaches”, above. Participants must be at least 3 years old to enroll in this program. This is a Red Cross certification program and participants are tested at the end of their six weeks of lessons. Those who pass earn Red Cross Certificates. Residents and their legal dependents are afforded the first chance at enrollment. All others are able to enroll after a cut-off date at double the cost. Information regarding Swim Lessons generally becomes available by the middle of June; registration is usually conducted at the end of June and classes start by the first week of July.
