Plan Information
On July 16, 2010 the Growth Management Department submitted the final draft of the plan to the Commonwealth’s Division of Conservation Services for
review and approval.
The Growth Management Department and the Land Acquisition and Preservation Committee would like to thank the many contributors to the plan for
their time and interest, including:

Members of the Town Council, Recreation Commission, Conservation Commission, Planning Board, and Community Preservation Committee;

The Barnstable Land Trust and other private conservation organizations actively working in the Town of Barnstable;

The 300 Barnstable residents who completed the Open Space and Recreation survey;

The public who attended the hearing on June 21; and
-
The many residents who e-mailed, called, and stopped into Town Hall to share the open space preservation and recreation opportunities that are
important to them.
